Eltham Choral Society is thrilled to announce that the exceptionally talented Hilary Punnett will be joining us as our guest conductor for the upcoming summer term. Hilary will be leading the choir while our esteemed resident conductor, Max Barley, takes this precious time to care for his new baby.
We are incredibly grateful to Hilary for stepping in, and we know her expertise and infectious enthusiasm will bring a vibrant energy to our rehearsals and our Summer Concert.
Adding to the excitement, we extend our warmest congratulations to Hilary on her recent appointment as the new Assistant Director of Music at St Paul’s Cathedral, a position she will be taking up from August 2025.
It’s a double celebration here at ECS as we enthusiastically welcome Hilary to the choir and send our heartfelt best wishes to Max, his wife, and their growing family.
