Messiah in Blackheath

On Sunday this week several members of ECS – and also a number of past members of the Choir – sang in a performance of Messiah at Blackheath Halls with The Sixteen under their associate director, Eamonn Dougan. We spent most of the morning rehearsing – we had a Choir of 100 community singers – and then we rehearsed with members of The Sixteen Orchestra in the afternoon. The evening performance – to a full house at The Halls – included a lovely solo by Eva, our choral scholar, of “He shall feed his flock”.  It was an inspiring evening and an enjoyable day for those taking part.
