We are delighted that Naomi Butcher has accepted the post of Music Director for Eltham Choral Society. Naomi is currently Music Director of Tonbridge Philharmonic Society, conductor of Stoneleigh Youth Orchestra Training Orchestra and conductor of Norfolk County Youth Orchestra Springboard programme. She has also held the position of Music Director of Reigate and Redhill Choral Society. Naomi will be taking up her post in September and we look forward to working with her.
During our ‘Inter Regnum’ period in the summer term , we are delighted to welcome back Hilary Punnett, Assistant Director of Music at St. Paul’s Cathedral who will be taking six rehearsals. We are also thrilled to welcome Genevieve Ellis and Dominic Felts who will be taking rehearsals when Hilary is unavailable. Genevieve is Assistant Chorus Master at The Royal Ballet and Opera House, Covent Garden. Dominic is a freelance baritone and conductor in London who regularly performs with several professional ensembles including the VOCES8 Scholars Ensemble, Platinum Consort and St Martin’s Voices, as well as his own quartet, The New Eden Consort, in which our choral scholar Grace, is the soprano.
